    Subs used today

Very noticeable that the four subs used, Livramento, Tonali, Hall, and Murphy all achieved much higher ratings than the players they replaced.

I think Eddie's said he might have got the starting 11 wrong.

Could well be true but, as TT points out, too many poor performances...meant that whatever we spent the week working on in training was never going to work.

If we are to be brutally honest, we haven't played particularly well in any game of the five we have played this season and we are very fortunate to have the points tally to date.

The whole squad need to buck up and get into a playing formation where we can make most of our strengths. As in last season, too many times we are going behind and having to chase the game instead of previously where we made a good early start and left the opposition trailing and leaving themselves open to try playing catch up.

Someone said this on another thread I was reading on FB.

It doesn't seem to matter who the players are, we don't seem to start playing better untill we have done subs.
