Only seen murmurs but often no smoke without fire, someone said 3-5 months but no idea if credible/who the source is. Would be probably as bad news as losing Palmer for the entire season was, I suppose we'll have to wait for official news and expect the worst.

I suppose we might find out more this afternoon if SM does the pre-Morecombe interview.
And of course if he is asked the question.
Mentally I am preparing myself for the season. Anything less will be a very large bonus.

Awful news if true. It was coming sooner or later though, the way opposition teams commit to kicking him around.

How many points will that cost us?

If true, and with the ever increasing injury list, IMO it will cost us promotion, Referees are part to blame they have no interest in giving some protection to skillful players allowing the sh*t to be kicked out of them with out even a yellow, its time the standard of refereeing in League 1 & 2 was reviewed and up graded by the EFL

Could well do. Gillingham will be delighted. Their game plan worked to a tee - smash-and-grab win and injure Jones. Tick, tick.

If true, him getting literally kicked out of the team by opposition players does unfortunately sum up league two in ways I never expected.

Unfortunately the officials are complicit. They have the power to stop these tackles, but choose not to use it. I said to my partner as we left the ground on Saturday that the ref was culpable in the injury as had he clamped down on some of the excessive tackles earlier it wouldn't have happened.

Well he clamped down early on George Abbot’s tackle. But seemed to developed a severe case of leniency with any of their tackles.

The 'tackle' on Saturday was ridiculous yet the ref didn't even give a free kick
