Watched him 3 months before he joined us, walk onto a stage and hand out trophies to a youth football club and give a little speech.

Soon as he was announced head was in my hands.

He got lucky at Exeter had a lot of money from sell ons to use, they were spending on the ground and training ground so could attract players. The academies down here are unbelievablly good and 1 or 2 of the youth leagues have some really good talent in them. So he had youth players good enough to break into the 1st team.

Bloke never should have left. He's a top nice guy, but he's leaving destruction wherever he goes.
