A good player and he did well yesterday, he uses the ball well and rarely gives it away, when he does he chases it back. I agree his dead ball delivery has been poor so far, I feel there is a lot more to come from this lad. We have made some good signings, but overall the recruitment has not given us a full squad that is likely to do what evans said and challenge at the top part of the table.

We did try something different yesterday. MacDonald took the first corner the result being it didn't even go over the head of their defender stood at the edge of the 18 yard box . Okay, one of his other corners did but you can't say we didn't try someone new to take a corner.

As for Powell, so glad we signed him. A good battler, sensible with the ball and some of his play out to the wing once Bramall and Hungbo came on was good to see. Only slightly, but his ball play on the floor and slide rule passing was reminiscent of Barlasar. Now if he turns out to be 75% as good as Dan, then we will have done very well.

Get his corners to offer us more and we will offer more threat wise but, who's going to coach him this?

What do you mean 'not written him off', I take it you saw the game yesterday? Totally agree about Hungbo, always wanting to cut back in on the inside, what's that all about? Thought he was a wing player? Plus when he cuts back in, he can't beat his man and loses possession. That was evident yesterday as time and again he did just that.

Respectfully, I fail to see on this occasion, you having not seen the game yesterday, how you can possibly saying 'he's got a pass but not much else'. He displayed a good overall game.

Agree on the cross, but he could have done a lot more than that which, may have given us other attacking options. He needs to be working the wing which is what he was brought in for and, brought on for yesterday.
