    Another Strange Starting Line Up

Me and Mick exchanged messages before Sheffield and said without Mowatt and that midfield it would be a disaster. Second half Mowatt controlled the midfield but too late.

Grant was s hite Saturday and Mikey played well when he came on. Still Mikey on the bench!

Worse - don’t get Wallace for Fellows at all. Fellows can do everything Wallace can’t - he’s got pace - can beat a man and put in a good cross. Seems Carlos is desperate to give Wallace minutes! Poor decision!

Does seem strange but he has knowledge and insight we don't possess. Lets see how it pans out.

Sadly that knowledge was wrong on Saturday with not starting Mowatt who controlled the second half but it was too late!

    Wallace has no pace!

Sometimes the reasons have nothing to do with what a player can or can’t do it can simply be fitness levels. Fellows looked knackered and mentally flat v Wednesday, this might have been the only reason Wallace got the nod. So when I say Carlos knows things we don’t it includes what he thinks players are up to or not. I think a lot of expectation has been put on fellows shoulders so he might be managing that a bit.

We beg to differ as do many supporters. Fellows should have started and if he was knackered h could have come off. Likewise with Mowatt and the injury v Sheffield. Without Mowatt we were 2 nil down and he controlled the midfield in the second half. So start your best players and then take them off if need be because once the oppositions tails are up - it’s difficult to change the game.

Fellows must have been like a corpse not to start due to Wallace who can’t run and hit a barn door. I would have done no worse with those two first half chances FFS!

I can see what you’re saying but doesn’t that work the other way round too? If the oppositions tails are up bring your best players on then? To make a difference? (Only with injury and fitness issues)
