This is sad news. Former Sheffield United defender George Baldock has been found dead at the age of 31. The 31-year-old full-back was not in Greece’s Nations League squad to face England on Thursday night and was found drowned in his swimming pool by the owner of his house in Athens.

He played more than 200 games for the Blades and was highly thought of. RIP young man.
