    Kudus

Anyone seen anything about his ban?

His 3 game suspension would end to free him up to face us as his first game back.

At the time I wondered if he would get hit with any additional games (before I knew he would be back to face us if not)… had someone tell me that it was being looked at, but not seen anything myself… anyone else?

    Not heard anything either.

I suspect he'll be back to face us.

Much as I'd rather he didn't face us, I wouldn't like him to receive an extra retrospective ban for individual actions which combined to make the whole incident. He lost his rag, did some crazy shit and was sent off. End of.

I guess the only thing I'd add is that, given how spectacularly he lost his shit, there isn't scope to impose a greater sanction for occasions like this. 2 or 3 of his actions could have been reds on their own but, for me, were part of a violent 'stream of consciousness' so I wouldn't like to see each action singled out and punished.

The fact he slapped/hit 2 players in the face in the altercation. The show of aggression in comparison to say, Suarez biting Ivanovic got him 10 matches, that was inadvertent, no one really saw the bite.

For bringing the game in to disrepute Kudus should get a 10 match ban or better.

West 'Am Wan 'va World Cap Vaw init!

So they'll get their mates in the FA and EPL to plus the strings and get them a lighter punishment no doubt.

I’d thought while watching the match that it deserved more than the usual… he kicked VDV twice on the floor, then put his hands in the face of 2 players… not because he was a victim of an unpunished foul but because he lost his head as they got pumped in 15 minutes.

Didn’t even realise he was due to come back to face us until I checked later on… at best I would say maybe you can connect the kicks and hand in VDV’s face, but after VDG went down there is no reason for him to be putting his hands into Sarr’s face… he should have had his ‘oh sh!t’ thought when VDV went down with his hands to his face.

Just checked, and apparently the FA are looking at it, and it looks like West Ham/Kudus were given till yesterday to make a response.

Didn’t Joey Barton get a long long ban for lashing out at a couple of players?

It’s more that reaction to Sarr?? that could get him in big bother I’d think

Yeah but Barton's reputation, like Shelvey's reputation got them suspensions just for turning up on the pitch!

Aye some players reputations have them on card before they step foot on the pitch.
