    Points required

I’ve just had a shufti at the final EFL2 league tables for the last 10 or so seasons, a bit like Stefan (?) used to do. I’ve ignored the strange 2019/20 season but in the last 10 the average final points needed to finish just above 23rd place and relegation is 45 points. High was 51 and low 39.

So if we aim for the average we need another 37 points at 1.16 points per game - that’s bottom half of the table form, but no guarantee of staying in the league.
If we aim for the maximum, we need 43 more points at 1.34 points per game, that’s top-half form, and it’s likely we would survive.

    Flying pigs anyone?

There is a Flying Horse in Rochdale?

Chalky had the same issue last year when trying to get 101 same as I know have 2 challenges to try and catch him.

I have said my piece on what happened to Dale when we went from bad to worse manager wise..

It is a big ask I know but looking at the bottom 4 it’s the number of defeats that’s hurting you… draws would help a bit..

Something’s got to change or you will be playing us next season and as we know, only 2 go up and it’s a huge task

I agree about the draws but we’re good at conceding early and poor at scoring. It’s killing us.

Here are two tips to end suffering, no 1, stop caring. No 2 accept all. The essence of football is that you can reach the top, the prem, win the FA cup.

You cant, why? Money, you dont have any, those that win have, so why give a fig? The essence of sport is fairness, not money. You are Carlisle United, notice the word Carlisle, how many Carlisle born players are there?, few, if any.

Players are hired guns, ringers, no link to CARLISLE at all, or Cambridge, Rochdale.

Yeet you break your hearts over it, thinking somehow that you as a person is diminshed, by Carlisle losing. Not the case is it.
