Was a great orator telling story of Jonjo O'Neil on Sea Pigeon 1979 Ebor at York. Jockey he'd got 3 broken toes in one of his feet had to pass a doctor to ride it showed him his good foot passed & went on to win the race by a whisker.
RIP Alastair, loved listening to him when racing was on channel 4, a sad day for people who love racing.
