Burnley v Swansea, Sun 10 Nov, 3pm
This Sunday we take on the Clarets at Turf Moor in the final match of the three in a week cycle before the International break.
A strategy reset with a new manager (Scott Parker) and new players in the summer after their recent relegation from the PL, the American owners, sports investment company VSP, will be hoping for a quick return to the money spinning upper tier again.
With 21 players shipped out, including four loans and 15 players in, including four loanees, there has been a big overhaul in the playing squad.
After all that movement they have started the season well and currently sit in 4th place in the table with the best defence in the Championship, having conceded only 6 goals in 13 matches so far.
Swans defence compares favourably with 8 goals conceded in 14 games.
Burnley’s game in hand will be played tonight at West Brom, who themselves have only conceded 8 goals.
Swans ex-players Connor Roberts and Bashir Humphreys will be in the match day squad, but Michael Obafemi has gone on loan to Plymouth and Jack Cork was released.
We will do well to get a draw there, and it would be a satisfactory outcome.
