The only person that I can think of who has an ego equal to Trumps is Elon Musk,if he can run for presidency then I wouldn’t be suprised to see him in the running in the next election with Donald’s blessing (can’t presidents only have two terms or summat?)

    Edit

After looking at how wealthy Musk was I was suprised to see him as the wealthiest person in the world worth over 300 billion dollars so being the president of the USA will be the natural progression for his ego and owning your own media platform would be the first step in that direction

I havent researched anything about Musk, apart from knowing hes as sharp as it comes. The combination of the two can only be good. The communists, Labour, Starmer will hate anything to do with success, money, they dont get that capitalism pays the bills.

Its the Musk type that pays for the NHS. Having money, being successful is verboten by the left, which is ok, but then they have to impose it on everyone else, leading to disaster, like Reeves taxing the ass off everything. The left will always do that even if the streets are paved with gold, then spend it on stupidity.

Collapse of society is what they want, so marxism, that horse sh it, can take over. Friedrich Nitszche said that society should focus on the able of society, like Musk etc, not the dregs of society, i dont mean to insult, but the vast majority have an iq of 100.

    He was right.

We should have specialised further education for the super bright so they can further society in their own special way, that benefits all. The dependant in society should of course get what they need, but progress should be the aim, how can that be wrong?

Better gizsmos, fuels, clean air, whatever. As youve branched out into a wider understanding of society, what do you think of Spinoza, and his theory of everything.

Unfortunately everything is ying and yang, up down, good bad, for every force theree is an equal and opposing force. Labour, socialism is the pox that infects the earth.....and we all pay.

Literally. Taxes. Reeves should have lowered taxes, she expressed the lefts hate for capitalism.

What are my thoughts on Spinoza and his theory of everything? We both know the answer to that one don’t we,mentioning Musks vast ego and then going straight into theorising about Spinoza is a step too far and you know it Frank, for starters I had to Google him and even after reading about him was more confused than before I started,do you really study people like Spinoza or do you just say that you do because you know that I haven’t a clue what you are on about therefore boosting your own ego and becoming the alpha male?

I fiver says that you will now accuse me of attacking you and I’ve got some kind of psychological problem that I can’t deal with 😊

Apart from that yes. I have read Nietzche, i bought a couple of his books when i was a student, and actually read them, what put me off him was that he was a druggie, and had lapses into psychosis. Some os his stuff was psychotic, or at least i didnt get it.

Some of it was mind blowing, going deeply into the smallest facet, like a microscope.

What made me an admirer was his reaction to animal cruelty, he was walking in a small german town and came across a man whipping an elderly horse who could not haul a heavy cart, he burst into tears and they put him in a mental hospital because they thought him mad. If it was me i would have whipped the whipper. I started reading books on psychiatry when i was 11, its like i was being prepared back then, spooky.

Ive read all sorts of books on everything, Spinoza was not one of them, i came across him on you tube watching a video on science, a toff mentioned him so i looked him up.

You dont need to look him up, he has a theory that the universe is made of the same stuff, all of it, you me, the trees, a car, whatever, which chimes with me.

Everything is simple at the lowest point. Which brings me to griff.

That Carlisle won away, that the lowest point is beginning to recede, but not only that.

The away terrace was packed, incredible, its still a 100 miles to manchester, and he keeps picking Preston even though i forbad him too.Admirable, defying my orders.

Yes chalky you do have a problem we all do, its only in my later years that i clicked onto mine, and started getting a handle on it, its how youve been built, not personal like. Finding out wot it is is crucial. It is my ego trying to put you down, you are not well educated, but also that i can lead you into learning. Read Spinoza, when asked, Enstein thought Spinozas theories of god were correct.

Im always looking for an explanation.

Last night i watched a video on the Tibetan book of the dead, it said that we can change the path of our lives in every moment of everyday, amazing. That life is meeant to do that, and when we die we are confronted by ourselves. Seee if you can find it.

As for you red griff, the truth hurts. Can i have your take on Labour trying to destroy britain, again?

It’s true that I’m not the best educated but then again I hated school lessons,I have a very low concentration span and teachers blah blah blahing about something or other didn’t interest me one bit and I found myself staring out of the window daydreaming about that weeks new entry in the Top or 40 or summat, people still bore me even today especially when they are blabbering on about something or other by the river,I don’t like meeting or talking to people full stop and would sooner communicate with the people who I do like via forums or WhatsApp or something,if they have a way of communicating with me personally then they are people who I like and respect, there’s not many who I will share time with away from forums but there are a few and those people I consider friends

The thing is that although I wasn’t keen to learn at school I am in my older years, somebody only has to mention something that I’m not aware of and I’m away googling it,it’s the same as my only true love music,I’m forever being introduced to new and wonderful music that brings me much joy in my advancing years and look forward to hearing more…

Having said that Prog music is crap

The love of learning came late then at least it happened. Why didnt you persue music, playing, performing or just going to events? I went a few times to a pub that had live folk music on when i was 18 or so, everyone was trying to be joini mitchell, all a bit embarrasing.

Why not pursue it now, pick up a guitar, get piano lessons, i wanted to play the piano badly, i love the piano, charlie down the road had a piano and had leessons, he wasnt bothered. Getting to know who you are is paramount, jung described how, its tough, almost impossible, but i hope to do it one day.

He said that the unconscious mind is our link to god, the universe, and that we are all guided by inner wisdom that emanates from the collective uncoscious, that we are all linked too.

That in times of trouble, and not trouble, this voice guides us, whether we hear it or not, or pay any heed is another thing. He said that a way to listen to this voice is to strip away the things of everyday life, people, tv, anything that can distract you from yourself.

Many already do it, meditate, the religious life, monks, seers, retreats, mindfullness, nature, pray without stopping, a million ways, and then re-emerge as a new person, the old having been deleted, using computer language. There is a joy in prayer, with Molly on walks in trhe fens.

All is about within, not without, the sense of failure you got from school, that measuring yourself to external standards is not a true reflection of yourself. One day i will be alone if i make it that far, and i will become a recluse, probably. Much of what i once thought irreplaceable has gone, football, tv is rubbish, i cant find a good book, i cant see myself with another woman, god no.

Good food is repetition, booze is self poison, most has gone. Who are you chalky? Warts and all, try and find out through music. To be totally alone, no family, friends acquantacies, etc, ive got to try that. Then start again. Different.

I’ve always gone to gigs and live music because there’s a thrill of seeing somebody that you admire live and in the flesh,I had a ticket to see Briana Corrigan in Leicester last week but circumstances changed and I was unable to make it which I’m still gutted about a week later,I know that you won’t know who she is but she’s a wonderful singer who used to be in Beautiful South who I was totally smitten by vocally,it’s been ten years since she last toured and I doubt that I will get to see her perform again

I would have loved to have learnt to play guitar but it never accrued to me that maybe I could when I was younger,I just got on with life and watched other people play instead so that was a missed opportunity I suppose,I once read griff describe a musicians hand do two things at the same time while playing a chord,I was impressed that ge noticed that because to me it showed that he loved music and understood it,for the life of me I can’t remember who it was playing now,it might have been Mark Knopfler I dunno

Too late in life to start learning now but it would have been nice to give a go,an acoustic guitar obviously but tbh I had a troubled marriage so it probably would have been smashed up anyway so at least that was one heartache avoided

Its not too late, things only have a veneer of difficulty, its your own perception that makes it difficult, that you have been conditioned to find it difficult. Someone said you only need to learn four chords on a guitar and you can play anything. The gap from thinking i cant to i can is extremely small.

The complexity of poker is huge, thee mathematics of chance enormous, i went from thinking it was about that, it isnt, to thinking i can. Ive won as many hands with a 7 and a ten as any other, if you wait for a strong hand you might as well give up.

Look at politicians, all of them are poker players playing with 7s and 10s, all incompetent lying as sholes. Many uni students study the night before an exam.

I went from getting 2 per cent on a maths exam in school, i got 2 for getting my name right, to passing my exams at 23 knowing i got everything right, with a big smile on my face coming out of the room, to calculating dosages.

I have a love of english, i wanted to be a journalist. Heres a techincal point, my personality type are dufeses in the beginning, our learning style is odd.

We are stupid like planks, till in my case 20, when something changes, and suddenly all hell breaks loose in terms of learning. Some of my type dont hit that change till late 20s even 30s, they wont tell you that at school, they write you off at 11, with the 11 plus, what dangerous nonsense.

Its highly likely to be the case with you, that you hold a big bmw engine in your hand but you dont know it, youve said you now enjoy learning, well bloody well turn that engine on, learn the guitar, write music. Many have started late and found fame and fortune. Its up to you, at least acknowledge that you are better than what you think you are. Life is full of s hit, you give up to easily, mind you its meant to be.

    One of many tests.

To think well of yourself in the face of a barrage of crap.
