    JG contract extension

Jim Goodwin has had his contract extended until 2026. I think this is fair and backs the manager sufficiently. Hopefully it is also a sign that the owner is going to back him once again in January. Hopefully adds a little bit of stability to the club and we can kick on, on the park!

    Agree. I happy with this.

He has done what he was asked to do by getting us back to the prem with a revamped squad while at the same time slashing our wage bill. He has continued in the same vain this season with virtually another new squad and although it’s not been to everyone’s taste. He has done well so far considering the injuries he has had to deal with.

Probably not the worst thing to happen, but my worry is that our results nosedive straight after this kind of decision. You only have to look at Hearts to see what can happen. Hopefully not though 🤞

Thoroughly deserved. Teams that tend to have a manager that stay around awhile get a bit of success imo. As long as he puts round pegs in round holes and starts with a back four sometimes, can't complain.

In his interview today he goes on about working with the smallest squad. Where do we need reinforcements? I think it is pretty much a given that we need a nippy striker upfront to complement what we have already, but where else would you strengthen?
