Do you see what I mean? Utter stupidity from the cretins in the media!"Eddie's lost the plot, He's lost the dressing room, the lads aren't playing for him anymore"
The team, everyone else in the league apart from Liverpool this season are very inconsistent.
Not that we should compare ourselves to others but that's exactly what a league is - A direct comparison with ones peers.
So, with all the known knowns so to speak, PSR, long term injuries, Wilson never fully fit, no first team improvements in the summer, looking at the league we see what?
Well it all depends on what kind of person you are I guess.
Some would see us in 11th place with 2 poor performances in the last week against two teams we should have beaten.
- valid points. The players and coaching staff need to eat some humble pie, regroup and come out swinging to stop the rot before things do become an issue. Right now, it's premature to get carried away.
Some would see the end of the road for Eddie Howe, Isak, Bruno and Gordon have had their heeds turned and we should get shot as they're betraying the badge.
- All completely mental points, however you can find dozens like it all over social media and echoed by the Social media mob. Completely ridiculous.
Personally. I am raging that we're now behind Man U. I think everyone knows my psychotic hatred for that club and delight in every mishap and mistake they make. However, it goes to show you how inconsistent the whole league is this season.
If those muppets can come back from 15th, 100 miles off the pace to leap frog us to get within 6 points of 2nd place Arsenal in after 12 games then our fan base needs to take a reality check.
Let that sink in. We're all agreeing that we've just seen to shocking performances, after 3 excellent ones we're in 11th but still only 2 wins of 2nd in the league.
2nd place arsenal spent how much? Chelsea spent how much? Man City in 5th (WTF!!!).
As a club we need to back to basics, high intensity, hounding defences and being aggressive.
As a fan base we need to get back to being aggressive and supportive on the program.
Eddie's got a big month ahead of him and January Mitchell has a big month ahead of him.
If by the end of Jan we've been cut a drift of the top clubs, I mean a 15 point gape to 4th and Mitchell hasn't signed anyone for the first team - development players are great but we need game changers now, Summer was a bodge job and we are no feeling it - then and only then will moving my position to one of a more globally critical one from just a critic of individual match performances.
Over to you Mr Howe and Mitchell.
Time to earn your money!
