O/T Premium Bonds - Anyone on Millers-Mad Ever Win Anything

Premium Bonds - Anyone on Millers-Mad ever win anything with them.

I have had premium bonds for a lot of years, never won a lot of money,
but this year I have had a decent return, with 3 lots of 100 pounds,
1 of 50 pounds, & 1 of 25 pounds, so 375 pounds for the year.
I have just short of 5,000 pounds in premium bonds, so this year a
    decent payout.
I re-invest my winnings, my Wife also has premium bonds, only ever
won 25 pounds, with a just less of 3,000 pounds investment.
Our idea was to invest in premium bonds, then when we die it would
pay for a headstone, plus other items with a funeral.
We have already paid for our funerals in advance.

    One for Brin here -
Do you remember British Coal selling premium bonds, in which they
were to stop money out of your wages each week, then give you the
    bonds end of each month.
I signed up to this, but coming out on strike in February 1984, I
was at Manvers, we were on strike before Cortonwood came out, with
    our pit having a dispute.
I ended up cashing mine in during the strike, to get some money.

Similar story. I had my first bond bought for me 60 years ago. Bought a few more since, never won more than 100 pounds but hit a purple patch of late with 600 pounds in the last 5 months. I reckon these are minor tremors before the big eruption

No pal, never heard of that taking place at our pit.

Good luck with them for the future.
