    ...football's slow death started when Sky came onto the scene. The game as it should be played is lost as the Sky leeches, et al, contine to flog and rhayp the dead horse.
    It's almost worth it to be playing in the EFL lower divisions; at least we (often) see games worthy of the name.
    To mis-quote one of our uncelebrated former managers, if I saw a Sky building on fire, I would dial 998 ...

    Had to smile when I saw the photographs of the SA delegation with fists raised and big beaming smiles when the "winners" of the '34 WC was announced, like they didn't know they had won in a one horse race. FIFA corrupt? Never!! Did you see in the first article I posted that countries could protest the results but only by not applauding the announcement!! (lot of !! I know but!!).
