    Potential stadium move

So, we?re on the BBC sports site about a potential move from St. James Park.

And those stadiums planned for the Saudi World Cup look amazing.

Get their architects over, build a shiny new stadium, and then while they?re here?

    ?

How would it work to build, say a couple of hotels / apartment blocks etc where St. James was? sell them to a sister company for a few hundred million quid and reinvest that in the squad to let us do a Chelsea and spend a billion quid on players? 🤔

Only cartel clubs are allowed to do that.

It made me think - facilities costs doesnt count into PSR, but income from its sale does?
What if NUFC decide to build themselves a summer training camp somewhere in Saudi Arabia, Germany, USA and Japan (just in case, you know) then sudden change of plans - sell it all and here we are - with pockets full of money

    Wouldn't be allowed.

If we tried, they'd fix the rules to prevent us from doing it. Only cartel clubs can sell assets back to themselves or have huge debts.

Every single point Chelsea get is another nail in the coffin of fairness.

I don't think the club would be able to develop the site if we did move as it is only leased to the club with the city council being the freehold owners.

I may be wrong about this but the city council would have the say about future further development

Aaah of course!! And no doubt it?ll be turned into park land to replace the bit we steal for the new stadium 🤔

Can we just do something along the lines of why Marat said???

Buy any land anywhere, build something and sell it.

    This, completely this.

Wouldn't surprise me if they changed the rules mid-build on us to mean we fail their new rules etc.
