    Wigan Athletic Post Match Thoughts

Another day another 1-0 loss to a team around us. How did Bill Murray manage to get out of his Groundhog Day because we need to get out of ours?

    Thoughts?

To continue the Monkees theme from the match thread

Decent football's only true in fairy tales
Just for other teams but not for us
Steve is out to hurt me, that's the way it seems
    Disappointment haunting all my dreams

We're total tripe, and we are the millers
Not a trace, of skill or a spark.
Total tripe woooah, we are millers
Says stevie Evans, "it's not my fault".

We need to change the team during the next transfer window or change the people that train them!

Saw the setup, knew it was a loss.

    The team is woeful.

Longball and hope for the best.

We might as well play 5-0-5 next.

A delusional manager that is so arrogant he doesn't realise that what he says sounds like a man living in an alternative reality. We are now 7 points off the top half of the league, we are in a pack of teams fighting to stay in this league (well we aren't fighting).

We have a Cf that can't control a football another one that isn't even interested in trying to get on the end of a cross. we have players that have been told they are not wanted, so like any human they turn up for work but won't try to help the man that says he doesn't want them.

We have a handful of decent players that look like they care and our attempt to get in a game that we were losing in was to hit the ball high, down the centre to a CF that can't jump. We play a natural left winger on the right and the list just goes on and on.

Looking forward to his post match interview, unless he bottles it and gives it to the bloke that writes down the drinks list that sits next to him on the bench. I suspect it will be the referee, the late penalty that wasn't given, the fog, time of the year etc etc everything but his inability to manage a team.

I hope TS got that COO to put a break clause in his contract, after all Evans said he agreed to take the job before he read it, then again we are talking about PD so we probably put in a bonus for getting relegated.
    Can we get any worse?

So he said that some of the players that came on weren't putting in the effort, not really a surprise Steve when you have criticised them in the press previously and told some of them they aren't wanted. highlight was him blaming the fans for us playing the long ball game, saying the fans wanted us to launch forward because we have seen Rotherham teams in the past do that. LOL

There lies the problem though.TS will not sack his mate and we are lumbered with him.No other manager would want to come here, because as a club, we never have a budget to go forward with.A complete clearout is what is needed.

Last year's Christmas prediction (everyone laughed): We will fall straight through third division.
This year's prediction: Non-league (and no return) in 2 seasons.
    😡
