Some snippets about RUFC with reference to sponsorship and management fees.

I have no idea why but RUFC are included as a debtor to the amount of ?5.2m at June 2024 vs 2023 - ?929k. This is repayable on demand.

The club was paid a smidge over ?1m in sponsorship from ASD. Same as previous years.

What?s also noticeable is that ASD?s profits are not what they once were and turnover is down. Will the company continue to support the football club with sponsorship.

The ?5.2m seems a lot for the club to owe to lighting company, against previous year debt. Could the ?5.2m be a total over so many years.

It would be in previous year accounts.

Could be for working capital. Might have been waiting for incoming transfer money or TV money.

If they needed it for out and out expenditure ie. players fees, wages etc, OOPS.

I?ve always employed an accountant. The Shute thing is having to sign off there errors 😂

so what you are saying is that between June 2023 and June 2024 RUFC have borrowed ?4.2m from ASD Lightening?
