    Flemming....

I see he is playing well for you guys so are you paying a set price for him at end of season or is it yet to be decided as his price could be going up, cracking goal of his today.

Fixed price claw84 - 8 million quid and what a bargain. Thankyou very much Lions.

One other thing, he is starting to look like an out and out striker to me!

He?s a good player technically but he does t have the pace / movement of a natural number 9.

His strength is arriving later on to balls and scoring from the edge of the box , today?s goal was a typical no10 goal -?id really like to see him for us with a quick strong mobile front man - i think we?d really benefit from his skill set then.

Nice to hear from you claw. Happy New Year to you and yours. Flemming is really getting into his stride with us now and showing why he was a long term Burnley target. Looking forward to our reverse fixture in May when hopefully we will already have secured promotion.

He's brilliant with his back to goal, he's very strong physically and he holds the ball up well and links play up nicely. He will do for me.

That's just how I see him as well, his goal yesterday was typical of what I would have called, back in the day, an attacking midfielder. I think that's how he was used at Millwall and I think that's what we thought we were signing. He does his best but he's not a centre-forward.

It's a case of needs must for Parker, Foster's always knacked, Jay Rod's not firing, Hountondji a waste of a wage and no wonder our Ash is back. Out of position or not, the lad Flemming is putting some proper shifts in. Der Kaiser tried to buy him twice and he seemed to have an eye for signing proper talent.

Thanks for your responses lads, so ?8 mill it is, and i think you did well to get him. that Ironman pose he strikes is his trademark after he scores, after signing for us he was sent to the gym to bulk up and he did. You are right he is not a forward but a goal scoring midfielder. His ambition was always to get to the Premier and I think the Clarets will take him there.

Scored a good headed goal but did little else
It must be difficult being a striker in a side that is backwards going forward. Not complaining it works for us 9 conceded all season.

He doesn't put himself about enough for me though, but on the plus side is aireal game is beginning to improve, after missing 5 or 6 open headers in previous matches
