    Hake

West Brom have agreed a deal to appoint former Man United assistant head coach Rene Hake as their new manager, sources have told Football Insider.

The 53-year-old has verbally accepted an offer to replace Carlos Corberan and contracts are now being drawn up.

Not sure what to think about this but its very similar to what Carlos has been getting the team to do so there might not be a lot of disruption in the way we play. For the sake of continuity thats a good thing.

He has been compared to Erik ten Hag, with both managers having a focus on compact, defensive structures. They share the same football vision, which they learned while in the youth department of Twente.[23] The two also share a training principle that requires all players to be involved in both attacking and defensive play.[23]

(BTW. For those looking for an impressive cv. Nothing to see here)

Despite reports suggesting otherwise, Albion are still very much in the interview stage in their search for a new head coach and the job hasn?t been offered to anyone yet #WBA
EDIT - Lewis Cox also saying it's not true that Hake has been offered the job

It was a big risk hiring Corberon as his honors were a sentence in length and experience was playing in Liga 3 where he retired at 23. It's therefore wrong to be negative about another managers CV unless he managed a pub side!

Now Dyche has gone. Not a lot of job security in football management!
