    Matheus Cunha

Can anyone think of any reason at all why Cunha would want to sign a new contract?

    Just one?

I'd love to know what the selling point is, the WOW factor to keep him at Wolves.

He arrived from Athletico Madrid and became the proverbial big fish, thrived on the fans support and his confidence has grown? With Wolves current situation a new challenge might be tempting?

From a team point of view, when things are going badly you need your quality players to lead by example? Lemina and Cunha have sulked and lashed out when things go badly. Going straight down the tunnel last night disrespects his role as captain and suggests he wants out like Lemina. A new contract would protect Wolves, but the players need to be up for the fight.

It?s a toss up whether this squad is good enough to finish above Ipswich whose recruitment seems to be going better than ours. Cunha is sure to have one eye on new signings, I can see him wanting out at the end of the window if it hasn?t been up to his expectations.

His agent could be stiring the pot for a big money move. If he doesn't want to be here and up for the fight, let him go for a big fee. ?80 million sounds about right.

    I agree.

Just to point out that he didn't leave the pitch without acknowledging the fans etc as I suggested above, I guess we just have to wait and see how this pans out... Hopefully he stays and is fully committed, that could be the difference.

I've read his agent seems to be the problem regarding the breakdown in talks.

I'd be amazed if he signs a new deal.

I am fed up of listening to Sky Sport, they are just guessing and making things up. They are linking him to just about everyone in the Premier League top half.

    Click bait Abbo, ignore.

Nuno laughed off the Forest link a few days ago. I do think he might be more inclined to go at the end of the window if there haven?t been one or two worthy additions.

I don't see him moving in this window unless a huge bid came in. I'd be disappointed if tge club took such an offer with so little time to reinvest this window.
