With about a week left of the window I would try to offload both Racic and Cole and retain the rest. Obviously it would be ideal to get in a proven striker but if not, use what we have got as I am sure that TM will get the best out of them.

It is no use bringing in the likes of Cole and Dobbin as has been so obvious to date. Racic has not impressed either and we have brought in the promising Price to replace him. I am convinced that TM will get the best out of Diangana, Wallace and Swift. They are not bad players as has been proved in the past. We also have some promising youngsters to call on plus Maja and Dike who will hopefully be available at some point.

This my take on it anyway.

Totally agree, a loan striker is a must, then wait until summer when Mowbray has had time to access the squad

Apparently we can't send Racic back without paying all the wages and his home club don't want him back. There's a club in Portugal who are interested in taking over the loan though. That's our only hope of offloading him as I can't see him featuring for the rest of the season with the competition ahead of him.

Was it just me and a senior moment….but when Racic came on vs Portsmouth he started off as a twin striker ? Could it be that TM maybe thought it was worth a punt, given his height etc. ?
(Please don’t mention quality and skill !)
Somehow I would prefer him than Cole on current performances. Rock and hard place methinks.
