Disappointing, that; I was hoping to see him replace Holgate.

On first glance, it would seem a strange one. Unless something brewing in the background incoming. He probably still needs game time and experience with another club for now.

Think it?s key that he plays regularly at this point in his career. He?s been sat on the bench since returning and Bartley is close to returning, as is Ajayi.

Think this is good for him and then he returns when we only have one in contract centre half, so should get the game time.

I would have preferred to send Holgate back to Everton and keep Caleb. Holgate hasn't pulled up any trees this season.

I have to say that I?m really disappointed. He is not that young nor green; he is not that inexperienced; he does have some significant potential. But what do I know? Very little I admit but I do think an opportunity to bring him on with our first team is being wasted.

Ditto! Bartley is getting on and Ajayi has always been too prone to mistakes. To be fair, Holgate has been better than I anticipated but we have had no decent central defender since Kipre left. Unless we have one lined up to come in, it seems a strange move to put Caleb back out on loan.
