Thread: Celtic fans at Villa Park.

  1. #1

    Celtic fans at Villa Park.

I remember all to well the mayhem the Green Jocks caused at Turf Moor.

Not improved much by the look of things.

"Celtic fans have caused outrage after chanting about Queen Elizabeth's death and their hate for the royal family during Wednesday night's 4-2 Champions League defeat to Aston Villa.

Prince William, a Villa fan, was in attendance for the match at Villa Park.

But the royal's presence sparked reaction a reaction from supporters, who could be heard aiming some vile chants in his direction.

One referred to the death of Queen Elizabeth in 2022. Fans were heard singing 'Lizzie's in a box'.

Tasteless songs are just that and if they want to sound like tw*ts let them do that. It is the woke battalions who have been outlawing various chants in our football grounds and not football fans. I have however always objected to every proposal to allow Celtic and Rangers to join the English leagues and that is based on a section of their fans violent and destructive behaviour at grounds, cities and towns in England. I can’t see my viewpoint changing. I am sure distasteful as it was this is not the first time Prince William will have experienced the loathsome behaviour of some anti-monarchists and it won’t be the last.
