alright lads, we?ve just taken this lad on loan from you and I understand that he?s been injured. Can he do a job for us, by which I mean, when he sees a goal net does he:

A. Run away from it
B. Fail to recognise it, or
C. Knock the ball in its general direction.

Our current squad has too many As and Bs and the Cs usually do it from their own half.

So, is he any good?

We're screaming out for a CF so he obviously doesn't meet our need but he's young and probably needs the experience Carlisle can provide. But if he starts banging in goals he may be yanked back.

Just checked out his finishing and he can hit a ball - movemet looks decent and he?s a big strong boy.

He?s coming to you but we could do with someone in that mould.
