    The Pope v The Peacock

    2-2 so far as Birmingham play Newcastle. A good game to watch, Birmingham playing very well.

    Supersub6 will know the answer to this I'm sure. The Toon's first goal did not cross the line I don't think, did the referee not have his watch on that shows a goal or not?

    When Birmingham were in the Championsip they had goal line technology, however, it is not used in League One and Two, so the answer to your question is that it would not register on the ref's watch because there was no technology in place. Lino said that it was a goal but he was not on the line so could not be sure.

    "Only the Premier League and Championship use goalline technology throughout the season in England. It is made available to League One and League Two during the the play-offs."
