    Cardiff City v Burnley

    I am looking for advice.

I am looking to take my autistic grandson to his first ever game.He is football mad but has certain difficulties which means that
his parents will be coming along as well for support.Obviously I want to take him,if possible,in the Burnley section but I
realise that they will have a limited allocation of tickets.I have tried to phone the ticket office today without success for information.

We live in Cardiff and I know quite a number of Cardiff City season tickets holders who will help me to get tickets if necessary
but it will not be in the Burnley section.

Should we just accept that I get the best tickets I can in the home side's stadium.

    Thank you.

Ideally 4 tickets together. However, from past experience the steward just says "Sit where you like" so I should be able to sort it.
Incidentally the last time I was there,a steward spoke to me and said his name was McIlroy. He was certainly Irish and said
Jimmy and his father were from the same village and were related.

I hope you get it sorted Barrie and your grandson enjoys the game. One of my grandsons is very autistic. He is 14 but can't talk though he is
physically ok and can follow a few simple instructions. He lives close by so I see a lot of him. It's very difficult because he can't tell you when he's hurt or feeling sick or what he wants to do. Of late I think there has been a shift in the attitude of the public towards autistic children which is all for the better and I hope it continues.

Barrie my mate I'm off to Spain for 3 weeks on Thursday. I can probably get you 1 pensioner, 1 adult and 2 kids or any combination of. Let me know if you want me to help you, but the ticket office said there will be loads left on general sale because of the date switch.

    Thank you very much indeed.

I don't know when or if it has been re-arranged yet but we will definitely be going. In view of what the ticket office said I will take a chance and
see what we can do.I always have a fallback of getting tickets from Cardiff. In the meantime enjoy your holiday and get out of this cold weather.

Thanks.Just realised and have checked ok with my daughter.

Will phone Club in the morning, should be ok.A trip to SouthWales from Lancashire for a Tuesday evening 7.45 kick off in early March is not
a very enticing prospect.Pity because I was hoping to meet a few people.

    Thanks
