    Merseyside derby tonight

Cracking game and what an ending!

Scrapping all over the place between the players, two sent off, Slot red carded. Police in numbers running onto the pitch to separate players and keep them apart, very very hostile indeed.

A great game was totally ruined as all players accepted the result but Doucoure, ran over to the Liverpool fans giving it large causing absolute mayhem. He wants his conduct seriously looking at by the FA. The outcome could have been a lot worse.

Probably one of the worst endings to a game I've witnessed in a long time.

41 wins each ends an era between the two never to be seen again at Goodison Park.

Brin the game was mediocre and low in quality.

There was just some excitement at the end but it wasn't a great game

I think you’re missing the point IBS , last night at Goodison was nothing to do with the quality of the game, it was about the history, the fans, the rivalry, often within families and of course Goodison itself an amazing place to watch football

As Everton get ready to go to their new stadium I thought the banner the Liverpool fans held up that said "At least an empty cabinet is easier to move" was brilliant.

Just had a quick look at a bet. with 6 players already booked, it was an opportunity to place a cheeky/cert bet on a player to be dismissed such was the high octane/temper of the players. A quick couple of pounds on 5/2 paid me a quick tenner with my stake money back as two were sent off.

What was pleasing was that the game had ended but the players had not left the field of play so it was still paid up.

Nothing brilliant about them! Not winning it's a victory for the civilised left of us!
