    Motherwell (H) 22nd Feb

So finally, for the first time since the 7th Dec, we have a home game with a 3pm ko on a Saturday. It’s felt like an unbelievably long time. After an incredibly tricky set of fixtures we’ve managed to come out of it still in a healthy league position and in many ways this now feels like a reset and a fresh start to the season.

However, this is now it. There are no excuses over ‘difficult’ fixtures - this is an absolute must win. Solid as this season has been to date, we don’t want it to now just peter out. We have a great chance of European football. Let’s make it happen.

Second that, this is now our most important fixture this season, I'm coming up for this very reason, let's get behind the boys and get back in the fight.

The run of games has been tricky in January, on the back of the grueling schedule that ended in Paisley with a win, the disappointment has come in the two games against the fun and killie, neither game should we have lost on the balance of play and lost them narrow in the end with two avoidable cheap goals and not being clinical at the other end

Three games in 8 days coming up now, Motherwell, Hibs home then Sheep away

Think we need to take a minimum 4 pts from that, hopefully more

This should’ve been the game that you got to bring a friend for free to.

Reset is good word. No more old firm games before the split which makes every game winnable. 2 goals in our last 7 games is pittifle. We need to rediscover our scoring touch which was fairly reasonable before the current run. This means no more playing games without wingers and being over defensive for 60 minutes in games. We can do it.

Two of them were at Celtic but yea we need to get back scoring but more importantly don't lose the first goal like in the previous three encounters

Our success has been built on not losing the battle and getting the first goal (generally in the second half after goalless first half)

Apart from McDiarmid and Dens in the space of a week where we came from behind to win both but generally first goal is crucial in this league

Yeah this game feels huge in terms of the direction of our season, will be looking down the way if we lose. I still think the Killie 0-1 could prove a big dint in our season

Looking for a big performance as St Mirren game apart since the turn of the year we've mostly been going through the motions. Haven't seen much of a gameplan to get at teams and win games, tough fixtures or not.
Also if we contrive to lose 4 out of 4 against a poor Motherwell side then we don't deserve to make top 6.

Yep, we need to get back to being mean at the back. If we can keep a clean sheet, I'm certain we can score one or two and secure the points.

100% concentration and fight required. A win here puts us in a great position prior to the Hibs game.

    GET STUCK IN BOYS.

Should never have taken nothing and gave them the extras pts
