Romared Match Thoughts Rotherham United v Barnsley

At least a local derby adds something even though in reality this is a dead rubber game for both teams .

There's also the fact that the Millers haven't beaten us in a competitive game since October 1982 .

I'm struggling to add anything else to this opening post such is the situation on Grove Street so I'll leave it at that .

Thanks for reminding me Animal, we are going on the 9th March to 5th June.
Surely plenty of activity will have happened by the time we get back lol.

First half low key and drab. Two teams bereft of confidence and ideas.

Has either team got the determination and character to grab this affair by the scruff of the neck and get 3 points? I don't think so.

    Oh dear, oh dear.
So then - both strikers on the bench.
With two attacking midfielders / wingers acting as strikers.
Which is a good indication of Sormaz?s January Window.

Also Nwakali - who IMO is now our best player - sat on the bench.

Its not as tho the players in the starting line up are a winning formula.
We have tried the players in the starting line up all season - and they have failed.
Honestly it makes me feel like not watching it.

First half was poor but much better second half, which isn?t like us this season.

Good penalty from Phillips and we should have had at least 1 more for the blatant handball.

    Rovrum looked rubbish.

We got the penalty out of nowt and then never looked in danger against a very poor Rotherham outfit. A much needed win but lets face it, the season is still over.

Solid performance against a very poor Millers side. Mark Roberts of old the best defender on the pitch.
Soft penalty but a certain handball ruled out so evened itself out.
Did it really cheers me up “NO”
