There's no problem. Multiplication has higher priority and is always calculated before addition.
These are effectively
130+(100x5) = 630
and
100+(130x5) = 750
On your calculator
130+100x5=
Then
100+130x5=

Depends on your calculator. Cheap ones will probably give you the same answer. As a maths teacher, I used to hate them.
Perhaps it is that we have a bad calculator at the club, when selling players, it keeps missing the end nought off.
Should be 1,000,000 pounds
Ending up with 100,000 pounds 🤔
I always assumed most maths was a waste of time and I'd never use it... and then one day working as a software developer a client asked if they could have a progress bar that went around the edge of a circle instead of along a straight line.
It sounded like such a simple request that don't want to admit how long it took for me to figure out and revisit the old maths I'll "never have to use"
These days there are libraries that do all the work, but even that has been suddenly replaced by AI that can write the code in seconds. For simple coding or mathematics tasks AI is truly eliminating the need to learn all these things - the problem with not learning/understanding the basics/principles is you then have to blindly trust the result you are given.
CAM is correct[never thought I would say that]
BODMAS or BIDMAS gives us the correct order solving
This isn?t an issue of bodmas or order, those calculations are basically different
