The next 3 games. How many points will/should we take.

Let's start with this coming Saturday, Exeter at home. Sat 15th.

Stats for the last six games show:

    Millers- D L L W W L

    Exeter - W L D D W W

They sit 1 point below us and their last two wins have been against Shrewsbury and Mansfield, two teams who we have lost to both. Their last drawn game was at Reading, another team we lost to. It doesn't make good reading looking at those stats but,
we are the Millers and although this season has been abysmal, in parts, to follow and watch, somehow I feel we could take at least a point from this fixture.

    Wycombe - Tuesday 18th March.
One of the front runners of the league and they have been around the top 2 for almost all of this season.

    Wycombe stats - D W W L W D
Last time out saw them draw at Peterborough. Prior to that a win against Burton and a loss at Birmingham still sees them sat in 2nd at the current time. They have in their forward line the League's top scorer, on 17 goals, Richard Kone who at 21 years of age is surely destined for better things.

Early in the season saw us visit Wycombe, I went to that one and even though we lost, we should have wrapped the game up and brought the points home. The way we are currently set up and the results we are delivering, I only see this as a loss with no points claimed.

Crawley Town - Sat 29th March

    Crawley's stats - D L L L D L.
Surely you would think we should take all 3 points from this game?
Maybe this game is a long way off to be judging it and things might have changed by the time it comes around, who knows but I would say this should be a home win.

    4/9 points for me.

I will be optimistic and say 7 because if we can't beat Exeter and Crawley at home then it really is time for Evans to consider another career

Maybe he should have done that some time ago.

Derbs, lose both of those games and Tony should put the 'friendship feelings' to one side and act like a real employer and dismiss Evans immediately. Evans got who he asked for so it is with him we have very expensive, by League 1 standards, under achievers, lame ducks etc and for that reason the buck stops with him.

Personally, I firmly believe that an 80 year old man has allowed personal sentiment to cloud his judgement re Evans, and maybe this should have been dealt with much earlier in the season. The danger point now is looking at the current squad, most will still be on the books next season due to their 2 year contracts Evans gave them and that's a major concern.

Follow that up with the likes of Odoffin and Humphries leaving and suddenly, it's another s.hit fest before a ball has even been kicked before next season.

I never though I'd say this about Evans as I do admire his achievements through football but, is dinosaur approach to our game, lack of youth and wide play, have clearly affected our position this season and he definitely does not believe in reducing the age group in our team. He's of the 'old heads' approach is the way forward and it clearly is not.

Part of me wants us to lose to both Exeter and Crawley in order for Tony to dismiss Evans and for someone to come in and change the dynamics of our team best they can until the season end then have a mass clear out and start again with the correct set up.

Where does this come from,he sacked the bloke once before,I`m not sure that they are really "Bessie mates".
