Matt Godden was at the double in the first 45 minutes, in this 7th home win on the spin as the Add1cks beat Wigan by 2 - 1. His first a sweetly struck shot into goal and the second a tap in for his 15th goal of the season.
Tyreece Campbell and Macaulay Gillesphey also had close chances during the first half.
Charlton started the second half well with Campbell and Godden again having shots kept out by the Wigan goalie Tickle.
But with seven minutes to go Wigan pulled a goal back after Mannion saved from Darcy, Sze pounced and scored setting up a nervy seven minutes but as has happened so often this season, the Add1cks held firm for the win and stay 4th in the league.
