    New Keeper?

So on the radio after Crewe, Stallard and the host mentioned a goalkeeper was being put through their paces after the game that was neither the youth keepers or Slocombe.

It has also been noted that Tyler Miller was seen with the injured players on Saturday as well. 6ft 4 American keeper for reference

150 appearances at MLS level, which is probably the equivalent of top half of League One. Just turned 32 so still should be in his prime for a keeper.

Aaahhhhh...."In August [2023], Miller suffered a torn rotator cuff and underwent season-ending shoulder surgery. D.C. United declined his contract option following their 2024 season"

On the face of it he would be a more than adequate stop-gap whilst Bass is out.

Would be harsh on Slocombe though. He has not really done anything wrong in the recent games he has been called into action.

Slocombe has done well, to be fair. Still gives me the jitters the way he delays kicking until the very last second!
