What a sublime performance from the Add1cks, bouncing back after the Peterborough defeat in style with a 4 - 0 win against Huddersfield also in the play-offs in 6th place.
All the players put in a great shift of high press, solid defending and creative passing.
That's eight wins in a row at the Valley now. Matty Godden netted first on 30 seconds thanks to a pin point perfect pass from Thierry Small. And Tyreece Campbell proved to be MOTM after a brace. The first supplied by Luke Berry, he scored with a left footed shot angled into the goal. Tyreece's second in the 2nd half, another supplied by Berry, a right footed shot slotted into the back of the net.
The fourth goal came on 60 minutes worked from a Campbell pass finding Docherty, his powerful shot ricocheted off Huddersfield goalie Nicholls and into goal. Lloyd Jones produced his trademark solid defensive display to block a shot near the end and keep a clean sheet.
Job well done and Charlton cement their position in 4th in the play-offs.
Charlton goals: Godden 1, Campbell 17, 53, Nicholls (own goal) 60
