Thread: Good times!

    Good times!

Into the FA Cup semis for the first time in 10 years

Into the CL qtrs for the first time in 41 years

A very strong squad now with just Barkley left to get back to fitness for the run-in

Starting to get clean sheets and with lots of competition for positions everyone has to be bang at it!

Every signing in recent windows looks spot on - what a great time to be a Villan!

You ran PSG very close, in the end.

Tbh, I'd take a point tomorrow. Personally, I think our first team is stronger out of the two but your squad is stronger. It would be fantastic if we both made the top 5 instead of one of the cartel 6 so, after tomorrow, good luck for your remaining games.

Better team won, lads. No complaints.

Howdo Zipp - firstly congrats on your LC trophy win, great feeling isn't it to see your team lift silverware.

We were on fire on Saturday, tactics were spot on and but for the woodwork & Asensio fluffing his lines it would have been more. I rate your side highly, strong all over the pitch and you've done the same to us in recent meetings so it was time to redress that. Now we have a fully fit squad and genuine competition for places our play has gone up a level - we get a lot of negativity from the media when we do well but we look the real deal.

Refreshing to see the likes of our clubs and Forest competing for CL places, been a really good season for football fans.

Can’t disagree with any of the above. We’ve put pressure on ourselves by some slack displays earlier in the season and now every game is a must win. It certainly would be one in the eye for the so called big six if Chelsea and Man City were to miss out on Champions league to us Newcastle and Forest. Fingers crossed it happens.

Cheers, man. Still smiling about it, tbh. The way the City came together for the parade was something we'll never forget-most of us there had never experienced winning anything before so of course we were going to celebrate (despite various pundits, etc having a pop).

There are some very good teams outside the cartel and the likes of us, you and Forest taking the places of the traditional 'big' 6 is fantastic to see.

Expect further financial rule changes if it happens, mind...
