    Swansea v Plymouth

    Swansea v Plymouth Wed 9 April 19:45
The second match of a three match sequence in seven days is a home match against Plymouth on Wednesday night.
With little time to recover the team will then travel to Sunderland on the Friday for Saturday’s game, our longest trip of the season, 333 miles each way.
Plymouth are bottom of the table but only four points from safety after beating Norwich 2-1 at Home Park on Saturday and drawing at Watford last away game.
They dismissed Wayne Rooney after a disastrous run of games and their new head coach since January is Miron Muslic who has fared slightly better results wise.
It is going to be a tough game against another team fighting for their Championship status.
I just hope we can overcome them with the same fight and commitment that they are bound to show and confirm our safety for another season with the win and three points.

    Swansea 3 (O’Brien 4’, Darling 22’, Key 35’) - Plymouth 0
This game was the polar opposite to the Derby one.
We were flat out attacking football from the start. Within four minutes the ball was in the back of the net, a cross from Ronald and a diving header from O’Brien.
Next it was Darling’s turn with another header from a set piece. Key got in on the act and his looping shot from 35 yards sailed over Hazard and into the net.
Three up at half-time, second half we had so many chances but couldn’t add to the tally, Vipotnik and Eom spurning chances. An impressive win which should guarantee our safety.

Brilliant win as we move up to 14th and 9 points clear of the bottom three with 5 games left.
He’s got the players motivated and responding to the way he wants us to play and this should quieten down critics of the way we played against Derby. Well done.

Who said we can’t play football under Sheehan. Well he proved the doubters wrong with the best football display of the season.
After Derby certain fans were moaning about the turgid football on offer, last night was Sheehans answer.
    Well done the lads.
