    Cheltenham

Remember the days when we put 7 goals past them. Suppose that's not going to happen this time. In fact they are sufficiently mid-table to be a real threat to us. We haven't really enjoyed playing this level of team at Gresty Road so, like Newport, they'll be looking for a double.
It would be nice to play a game using the midfield and playing midfielders (with Lowery further forward). In this scenario the Alex wouldn't rely on hoofing it to a target man or hoofing it down the wing. In fact, it might include the above but also attempts to play through the middle along the ground using link up play with accurate passing to feet involved. That would also mean playing 4 at the back. Those should possibly only include 2 centre backs (possibly 3 if you include Billington at RB but no more).
So: Marshall; Billington, O'Riordan, Demetriou, Conway; Sanders, Powell, Lowery; Lankester (if fit), Hemmings, Long.
I'd back that team to win 2-1, if they played the football we'd like to see.

Referring back to Lankester, has there been any news re: his injury?

Williams has to play, and Sanders won’t. Lee bell mantra.

Yes, I know. Maybe that's part of the problem.

Does Lunt being recalled mean we can't expect any of Holicek, Tabiner and Thomas to be available on Thursday i wonder.

I wouldn't mind him being in the team, anyway. He ranks equally with them imo.
