Thread: Team for Saturday

    Team for Saturday

    Time to go for it,
    Griffiths
    Furlong
    Bartley
    Heggem
    Styles
    Price
    Diakite
    Fellows
    Bany
    Johnston
    Dike

But sadly Armstrong, Mowatt ( too slow) either Swift or Diangana will play

Personally, I would like to see Armstrong play alongside Dike. Playing him as a lone striker just hasn't worked.

Bany is having a scan on his hamstring,Diakite has damaged his ankle ligaments and Heggem is also a big doubt.

Was going to thumbs up Bombers selection but that injury update seems to have put the kibosh on that. Hopefully, none sound too serious though.

Personally, I don't mind Grant playing alongside Johnston but if Dike is ruled out then we need to find a far better way of getting the ball to Armstrong that doesn't involve any ariel challenges! Hope Heggem is fit enough in time as he will be a big miss if not-though his exclusion will probably be the only way Diakite will get a start.

Just cant muster any enthusiasm at this point. Weve left ourselves too much to do. And we need the best form of the season now and hope that Coventry and Bristol nosedive. Cant see it.

You're probably right but there is still a chance so until that's gone I will continue to believe (though I'm not exactly buzzing).

Trying very hard to accentuate the positive - we’re still in contention - and avoid the negative - the likely starting XI !
Nevertheless, we’ll be there cheering them on - and praying !!

The supporters deserve to see a committed and spirited performance, with no petulance!
