    Bell changing things?

Off the pitch for next season. He talked (in the pre-match interview) of training routines and systems, of the structure of the days. So what's changing and why? Is this in response to the disastrous run of injuries in the last 2 years? Has he decided the players are not fit enough or over-trained. Whose decision was it to make 'big' changes? What was their decision based on? Does anybody know what's going on? And, more importantly, can let us in on some of the ideas? Or if you don't have any inside information, what do you think is going on?

Dunno, but - having watched his pre-match interview it looks like he has had (more than) a few disagreements behind the scenes, maybe ...

Disappointed with thread title, Gazan ...

... Bell ringing the changes would have been good

On the subject of injuries and over-training, does anyone remember Paul McGrath ...

At the end of his career, he transferred from Villa to Derby. His old injuries were catching up with him at this point (don't know how he passed the medical tbh). To cut a long story he used to play in a match (90 mins) and then was rested until the next game ...

He was a central defender, and read the game very well, using his experience...

    Food for thought (?)
