    Proving his doubters wrong!

    Jacob Murphy man ❤️

What a season for him! What a goal - no denying he meant that and goal of the season for me.

His final ball has just been unplayable, and considering he?s been a bit part player really since he?s arrived, generally having someone ahead of him in the pecking order.

He?s seized his chance this season with both feet.

His consistency considering he has no one to challenge him for his starting place too, true professional.

If we had signed him for 50 million in the summer, we would think we had done the deal of the transfer window

For me, he?s my player of the season.

Yes, we have a team of players that to date, has excelled across the pitch.

But for the majority of them, we knew their qualities and expected it.

He has not done too bad for the ?weakest link? has he?

Good on ya kid, keep living the dream

Great goal, no doubt, but goal of the season? Better than Tonali?s?

As for the rest - fair point. I also wonder, if this ?star? RW arrives and manages half that, would it be dubbed as great business and valuable addition?

May be kind of an exaggeration - I remember during Mourinho era at Chelsea everyone was talking about how they needed a striker, Drogba was ok, but not world class. They signed Shevchenko next and Drogba just had the best years of his career then

I agree Guybrush man. My estimation of the guy has been growing for a while now but I think I would still like another RW/CF for competition or even another style option like we have on the left. Its all good.

I think Tonali's wonder strike inspired him to try that.....and it worked.

Officially he is now part of our triple threat. Well done EH and the coaching.

And I tell you what JT doesn't look out of place on the sideline either.

Def done well but for me we still need a RW, one to challenge him and two, when he has dead patches we need someone to come in and carry high form onwards.

I think it was the intent from Murphy?s strike that wins it for me.

Tonali?s looked a bit more like getting the ball back across as close to the goal as possible.

But I totally agree about Mad Dog. He?s held the line perfectly without the General.

I see that swashbuckling swagger in the team that he himself exudes.

Btw I love the fact his badge is black - he is Eddie Howes dark side

His crossing is definitely improving and at the minute i don't think Isak could want for a better player on the RW. he is giving him so many opportunities and assists.
I also agree we need an alternative to strengthen the position and create competition.

Better than Tonali's as he admitted it was 70% a cross whereas Murphy meant it as a shot.

Strike of the season, no doubt.

    However, goal of the season?

    Step forward Dan Burn. ♥️

I saw that and was wondering why. Being the dark side would make sense
