What are the tactics in the 2nd half ?

With the amount of possession the Blades have had, I thought they were playing at home.

And they never made a chance. 😁

Hamer is a class act, but we managed to contain him and weather the storm. Good stuff!

I?m not sure he?s as good as all that Bt we afforded him a lot of time and space ( too much ) .
He always looks overweight to me and yes he?s decent but top clubs would have had him imo if he had a steady head on shoulders and could stay fit.

I think Parker could have negated him if he?d thought about it , however all turned out well in the end for us.

I guess you would have switch things and gone
1-3-6 hoping we would have won 16-1 to equal Leeds goals average 😬

They ended up having 3% more possession and 5 more shots than us in a game that they HAD to win. Both teams had 4 shots on target and Trafford saved one more than Cooper did, however, that one save more meant that the end result was that we won 2-1.
Clubs and fans are obsessed with possession because these are the stats that the media throw at us all the time. I prefer that stats for games like SPurs v Forest last night where Spurs had 70% possession and Forest only had 30% and this stupid expected goals figure had Spurs at 2.14 and Forest at 0.64. Oh dear, guess who scored the most goals and won the match?

Enjoy the games for what they are and not how the statistician would like them to be. Score more and you win, simple game.
