He has been excellent all season, however, tonight he seemed to find another gear against a team who were intent on trying to bully us.
Great credit to him but also to all the other lads wh o have got their reward for the effort that they have put in.

I'm not going into overboard mode but having seen the likes of Cummings, Adamson, Miller & Waldron I struggle to remember a better centre half at Burnley. Esteve is immense.

He and Hannibal were outstanding. Tremendous effort from everyone though, all credit to SP for building a TEAM.

I?ve posted previously about this lad and he is what I can accurately describe as Rolls Royce he has pace and strength yes but his ability to read the game and step in to avert danger is immense.

Alan Hanson was like that at Liverpool just always knew where to be and where the ball would be played , I understand the likes of Everton and palace expressing interest - however this young man is destined for bigger things than them I think - he should make the French national side soon I?d think as well and on the trajectory he?s on could be the next financial v v dyke.

Mr Pace needs to box clever and not do anything rash - I hope he stays as I?d like to see him play against the best - he?s going to be a superstar though - one thing VK was good at was identifying young talent and this lad could be his biggest achievement that?s for sure.

I think Esteve and a fully fit Jordan Beyer would be an ideal EPL defensive pairing. Let's see what tomorrow brings.

Completely agree Army.He just needs to chip in with the odd goal from set pieces.

It would help if we had a player like McNeil who can take a proper corner.

Beyer proved last season he is way off being a premier league player, he looked weak, slow and out of his depth.
CJER is a better defender and passer of the ball
Humphries is also a better player

Unfortunately we are lumbered with Beyer and he will leave on a free when the time comes
