Thread: Jamie Vardy

    Jamie Vardy

Leaving the Foxes and heading to another club. Would love to see him have a cameo at the NYS next season - close to his birthplace and no doubt it would please some of our Gurus on here. Adding to that, he would also fit in with the Wednesday theme we seem to be pursuing at the moment!

    To what end?

He will end up in a foreign league or at Wednesday. There's zero reason to come here.

I would imagine Tony can sort that - he will have his cheque book out now.

Dream on, he will at a bare minimum play for a top Championship club, in that even include newly promoted Birmingham City. and they are going places.......he still needs the money like all footballers do something TS can't give him.

I didn't know that at 17 years of age he was playing for Wickersley......before Stocksbridge Park Steels! Snubbed by the piggies saying he would never make it as a striker as he was too small....what do some coaches know? ........The rest they say is history......

You seem to be forgetting he is knackered. That makes him an ideal candidate

Not a chance he’s going to stay in the Prem. as above - championship at best or more likely abroad

Vardy was released from the same Wednesday squad at the same time as Danny Care, who was also released for been too small. He went on to gain 101 caps for England! Sounds a great Academy back in those days!
