That time of year again. PotS 24/25.

Not exactly a vintage year and not an easy choice but my vote would go to Ebou Adams.
Just as I doubt we’d have gone up last season without him so I doubt we’d now stand a chance of staying up this time round without his contribution.
Not bad for a player who seems to have lost the ability to pass…but without his tenacity, will to win, commitment and leadership by example (since Eustace’s arrival) I believe we’d already have sunk without trace.
So my vote goes to EA, but please spend the summer practicing that passing!

See also there’s discussion on whether, at 36, to offer Fozzy a contract for one more season. I would…reckon he’s got one more season left in him and I value his versatility and commitment. Ultimately like to see him join the coaching staff in some sort of capacity. Seems to have the right sort of character and experience.

Between Adams and Forsyth for me, but I'd go for Adams for his continuous improvement and for embracing his new leadership role. A worthy mention I feel is deserved for Zetterstrom, he's won us a few points this season.

It is a hugely difficult task to pick a shining light from the dross of a season. The sort of season that has had no standouts, no high scorers, no "played every game" type of player that would allow one to put his head above the parapet. Injuries and switching of players leave few candidates, but Adams, Zetterstrom at least got more games in than most - although given that we have lost more than we have won, is that a plus?! So many bit parts, so few regulars. Maybe best to not award it - cant even give it to the groundsman given the state of the pitch. Maybe give it to the most overworked staff member - the physio for services beyond the call of duty

Very true, certainly difficult to award on football quality. We gave it to the fans in the 11 pointer if I remember right.

Agree that Zetterstom is a contender. The only other two, imo, are Nat Phillips and Harrison Armstrong, the latter having only played about 14 games but probably of the greatest quality. Sadly neither are likely to be with us next season…more gaps to fill.

Ebou. Honourable mention for Fozzy. YPOTS Tommo.

New contract for Fozzy? I'd certainly be considering it, he looks after himself, is fit and willing and would be a great option as cover for LWB, LB and CD. It will all depend on what formation and tactics JE decides to go for.

So Ebou gets not just the fans’ PotS award but also the players’ verdict too.
Both well deserved imo. Let’s hope he can crown it all with survival on Saturday.
Why he wasn’t made captain much earlier in the season is beyond me, but better late than never.

Fozzy for me, the guy has been immense these last few games and an outstanding servant for the club.
