    Joe Willock

Do you think Wilock has a future here?

    Yes, I think he does.

However, I could also see him being sold if we recieved an offer we thought acceptable.

He isn't on the list of "must keeps".

How much do you think we could get for him?

I see the stats say he played 28 times this season, that suprised me too.

As a squad player, I think he has a future-I'd be surprised if he went.

Depends on what happens with Longstaff and if anyone comes in for him.

As Jamastani mani points out he's 'not untouchable'.

I think if a decent offer came in the club would consider moving him on. He's got 2 yrs left on his conny and his transfer of ?20m value will have depreciated over the 5 yrs since the '21 signing. So the profit booked will be a decent wedge to reinvest.

If he can get himself back to full fitness and stay fit (big IF) then he's a great squad player and has proven himself to be a goal & assist getter. Contributing going forward and puts the work in the other way too.

He's a good professional and a good 'trainer' as they say in the trade. I Recon it's more a case of him staying for the Home Grown Quota numbers as a squad player.

Happy to keep him around but like I said if a Brentford or such club came in with ?20-25m for him I could see the club seriously considering it.

You have only got to look at his performance yesterday and see how ineffectual he was lots of running and no end product at one point he seemed to be trying to get sent off maybe out of frustration
We need to let him go and hope to get some money for him

God forbid we get any depth in our squad. Does anyone doubt him when he?s playing well? He?s off form and will come good as soon as he gets a run in the team (I hope he doesn?t yet because I want big Joe back).

I always thought Willock was at his best with Big JL alongside him.

The two interchanging their positions, one going wide and the other heading into the box, were a massive part of our success in EHs first season. Also felt it let JL get into more goal scoring positions.

But he does need a run of games to get up to speed. If we Champs league, he?s exactly what we need, a perfectly capable squad player!

He's a tops squad player and alternative starter in case of injury but if an offer of above his value came in (and there are still clubs who will pay over the top to get a decent starter) he would certainly move and we would then be able to purchase a step up to the lad.

Willock is the type of player that would be idle for a newly promoted team like Burnley or Leeds. Both have a far better chance of beating relegation next season than the 3 that came up this season.

An asset like Willock would be of great value and for the player he'd be a key man who would start most matches.

However, the money has to be right.
