Thread: Zeki Amdouni on his way back?

Zeki Amdouni on his way back?

Would Parker be happy to have him back?

Benfica paid a ?2m loan fee to the Clarets and secured a ?18m buying option on the Swiss international. According to Portuguese news footy media, Amdouni's future at Benfica is ?still being assessed? by the Lisbon club to decide whether to exercise the purchase clause.

This would be interesting BT as I think this lad is a very intelligent footballer , movement pace eye for goal but you?d need to build around that and realistically he plays Fleming s true position unless Parker could find a formation that suited all forward players.

I really liked this lad thought he had the talent VK just overlooked him and I don?t think played to his strengths.

Benfica have been using him as an impact sub and playing on the right wing when he comes on. He has scored goals and provided assists. Get him playing as a false number nine with Flemming, Anthony & Edwards and watch the sparks fly.

Well if he ain't pulling the trees up in a farmers league what chance have we got in getting a tune out of him in the toughest league in the world?

He was ****e last season showed little, and certainly hadn't the aggression, heart nor passion to show us that he had anything about him

This is bad news for Burnley has his fee would have freed up money for a new signing

Sometimes I really don't get you ballcock. This lad is a cracker of a player and I really love him.

Bruno Lage has used the Burnley owned player across multiple positions, mainly in attack. He played 1,241 minutes from 41 games in all competitions, managing eight goals and three assists in the process. Not too shabby eh ballcock!

We paid 18 milly for this lad and he was nowt but fur coat and no knickers, and you paint him as though he is a world beater. What planet are you on BT, planet Trump or Corbyn? Both them feckers delusional 🙄

He's still a young man learning his trade, he will be a superstar within a couple of seasons.

Why bring politics into a thread solely about Zeki Amdouni?

If I recall last season's games correctly he managed to link up well with Lyle Foster.

Who knows, it might work again.

I'm fully behind whatever decision Parker takes on this. If he brings him back into the fold then he will get him working hard - there will be no lazy/luxury players around. If he lets him go then he's decided he's not up to it, or Amdouni himself wants out. Either way i believe Parker will build a decent group next year.
