    Liverpool

Setting aside, for a moment, the things we could say-and have said-about them...

...they're worthy winners of this league. Albeit Klopp left them with a great squad, Slott had to get the best out of it with his own style and tactics.

    Fair play to them.

Couldn't beat us in the Cup though, eh?

Worthy champions indeed. They've shown a level of consistency over the season that no other team has matched. Fair play to them.

I've said it before, I'll judge Slott on seasons 2 & 3 (if he gets a 3rd season). The 2nd season syndrome is a real thing.

Case study - See Ange P at the cowards. Talk about injuries. We had less injuries last season and still finished 7th. No excuses.

Slott has been dining out on the core of Klipperty's squad. Trent gone. The Saudi's will be back next summer for Salah and this time he will undoubtably go. We'll have to see what next season holds to judge the Dutchman.

For now he deserves the credit due to any manager capable of winning the Premier League.

Respect is due. As for the kopite professional victims that line the terraces, the only saving grace is that they have regained the league advantage over the red filth of Manchester. So, silver linings and all that.

No they couldn't beat us in the cup. Next season I genuinely believe we'll be a real force and with good recruitment we could be in a title race along with a decent European campaign.

The league is all about consistency. Despite a wobble recently in form, they full deserve it. Leagues are great because the winner is always the best team. I hate competitions that have play offs at the end of the season to decide the champion - all money and zero sporting integrity.

Just crazy to think that they are champions with ?only? 82 points and 4 games to go, when they were 3rd with 82 points the season before and 2nd with 92 and 97 pts with Klopp.
Arsenal were 2nd with 84 and 89 two prev seasons.

Thats what dominating team does to the league - any other team can have a season of their lives and still be forgotten as ?also-run?.

If anything PL should focus on having 6-8 teams capable of winning it, if they perform (opposite to - ?AND Man City doing badly?).
That should attract more viewers and sponsorship than one horse show, isnt it?

... So all USA sports then haha.

Yeah it's the great leveller. We've been a better team league wise than the filth for the last 2 seasons but them snaking it into Europe via the cup win and knocking us out is disappointing, however, thems the rules.

Although Liverpool deservedly and dominantly won the league, I think next season they will be nowhere near and definitely below us.

They have an ageing squad and still a few contract problems to sort out. Also I've heard from an insider, that there are battles going on seriously amongst the hierarchy. That is way above management level I mean.

The Media machine is all bought and paid for. All the top clubs pay SSN to cover them.

It'll take about 5 more seasons of the filth for example to settle back the where they came from in the mid '80s as a mid-table also ran for the media attention to drop off as the glory hunting supporters shift alliances to the new breed of winners.
