My son Conor is 30 now - When he was 15, Adam Le Fondre was his hero. To such an extent that 2 years ago Conor named his son Alfie after him.
Conor took Alfie's shirt to NYS on Saturday and hung around at about 1ish to get it signed for a keep sake for young Alfie and a reminder of who he was named after, but he missed him.
At half time he went down to the pitch side and after the 50/50 draw shouted le Fondre over and got the shirt signed.
It was as if Conor had won the lottery and the signed shirt is already framed and up in Alfie's bedroom.
A real nice moment for Conor who I started taking to Millmoor when he was 5 and he has stayed a true Miller.
