Every time I walk down Broadway in Accy I see it, a sign pointing to 'Tourist Information'. What on earth is the point of it, there are no tourists visiting Accrington, they are an extinct species, the last reported sighting of a tourist in Accy was when one was spotted staggering out of the Derby circa 1969.

Put it out of it's misery, take it down.

I don't know Barrie, I've never followed it, there can't possibly be a Tourist Information Office in Accy, there'd be nowt for any poor lass inside to do all day, it must have closed fifty years or more ago, if there ever was one.

Went down Accy Arndale last January for possibly the only time in my life, sent there on a mission to fix my dieing father in laws hearing aid. I actually stumbled across the Tourist information office. The window was full of old Accy memorabilia (Accy Pals and weavers) it was quite interesting but the shop was shut.

I'll have a look for it next time I'm in Accy, but we don't go often, just to the Three shop when the mobile is playing up or something. I lived the first 28 years of my life in Accy, it used to be a decent little town. Sadly it's a ****hole now, probably Thatcher's fault. Ooops sorry, politics again, I must refrain.

Accy has some great charity shops a decent market,pound bakery,Costa ,Greggs and an Accrington Stanley memorabilia shop plus museum. What more do people want 🤔

It also has a Wetherspoons and the Peel Park pub, perfect.
